The Buckhead Coalition has donated two bicycles and bike racks to the Atlanta Police Department’s Zone 2 for use by its new bike patrol.
APD began deploying bike officers in June to help curb crime in commercial areas.
Juanita Baranco, the board chair and owner of the Mercedes-Benz of Buckhead dealership, spearheaded the donation to help the new patrol, according to a press release.
