Fall Fest in Candler Park returns to Candler Park this weekend, Sept. 29-30,  with art, food, music, and family-friendly activities.

The event kicks off with the annual Saturday morning 5K and fun run through the neighborhood streets and the winding PATH through the newly named John Lewis Freedom Park. Sunday morning also has a healthy start, with free yoga led by Tough Love Yoga in the Candler Park field.

There will be two days of live music from 11:45 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Saturday and 9 p.m. on Sunday. On the bill are tribute bands for Neil Young, ABBA, Allman Brothers and The Who.  A highlight of Sunday is a 2-hour set by Atlanta Legends of the Blues. These local blues musicians unite on the Fox Brothers Stage for a set combining multiple blues traditions and influences.

The artist market will feature more than 200 artists and vendors from all over the southeast, while Kidlandia will keep the children busy with games and activities. There will also be more than 20 food trucks and Sweetwater is back pouring beer. A self-guided tour of homes is Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
