This modern home, Haus Gables, in Old Fourth Ward is on the annual architecture tour.

The Atlanta Design Festival returns June 1-9  offering a showcase for leading international designers, brands and companies with  events, exhibitions, talks, workshops, installations and tours.
Presented by MA! Design is Human, a creative platform to help grow brand awareness and sustainable prosperity in design, the theme for this year’s festival is “Collaboration.”
One of the most popular elements of the festival is the MA! Architecture Tours featuring
contemporary residential and commercial  projects by established and emerging architects and design studios. The tour will be hosted across Atlanta on June 8-9 and include 10 properties. This tour will be preceded by a satellite one-day tours in Asheville, NC (June 1) and Serenbe (June 2).
This year’s Design Expo will be held in the historic M. Rich Building, the original home of Rich’s department store, in South Downtown. A range of residential and commercial products for architecture, design and more will be showcased at the expo. Other activities during the festival include a screening  of the critically-acclaimed film RAMS, events from Design Within Reach, Poggenpohl, Room & Board and Minotti.
