
Publix supermarket will be the first big retailer to open at Madison Yards, the giant mixed-use development from Fuqua, at the corner of Memorial Drive and Bill Kennedy Way. The 50,000 square foot Publix will open at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, June 26..
The first 1,000 customers to check out on Wednesday will receive a free reusable grocery tote bag, and the first 25 customers to spend $50 or more on grand opening day will receive a free bag of groceries.
Madison Yards, which is located along the soon-to-open Eastside Trail extension of the Atlanta BeltLine, will eventually feature an AMC movie theater, a fitness center, retail shops and restaurants Hoots, Taqueria Tsunami, Marlow’s Tavern, Steel City Pops, Curry Up Now and Salata.
