A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on Thursday, July 11, at 10 a.m. for the final phase of the Atlanta BeltLine’s Eastside Trail, which runs between Wylie Street and Memorial Drive.
Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms will speak at the event, which will be held near the trail’s intersection with Memorial Drive.
After the ribbon cutting, the party will continue next door with the debut of Muchacho’s new Patio Bar, which overlooks the BeltLine. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. guests can sip on a selection of signature cocktails A portion of the Patio Bar sales will be donated to the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership.
The opening of the Eastside Trail extension comes just as Publix opens across Memorial Drive at the Madison Yards and new apartments and shops open just up the street at Atlanta Dairies development.
