A Dunwoody man is accused of killing his former girlfriend and her mother in a Sept. 6 shooting that also wounded a third person.
According to the Dunwoody Police Department, the shooting happened around 10:30 p.m. at the entrance of Dunwoody Glen Apartments at 6806 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, where the victims’ SUV was cut off by a suspect driving another vehicle. The suspect then fired several shots into the SUV, according to DPD.
Crystal Willliams, 23, of Dunwoody, and her mother Danyel Sims, 44, of Lawrenceville, were killed, and an 18-year-old received non-life-threatening injuries, according to DPD. A juvenile was also in the car but was not harmed, according to DPD.
Justin Deion Turner, 23, of Dunwoody was accused of the crime and arrested on Sept. 7. DPD identified Turner as Williams’ former boyfriend. He is charged with two counts of murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during a felony.
