A Halloween event called “Truck or Treat” will return to Dunwoody’s Brook Run Park on the last Thursday of the city’s Food Truck Thursdays.

The Dunwoody Parks and Recreation Department and the Dunwoody Homeowners Association will put on the event, according to a press release. Festivities will last from 7-9 p.m. on Nov. 12 at Brook Run Park at 4770 N. Peachtree Road.

The city originally intended to hold the event on Oct. 28, but had to postpone.

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the city held a drive-thru Halloween event in 2020.

“Last year, we held a drive-thru event we called the Halloween Spooktacular and enjoyed a strong turnout,” said Dunwoody Parks and Recreation Director Brent Walker in the press release. “But we’re excited to return to the tradition of gathering again for great food, music, costumes and treats.”

In addition to food trucks and Halloween festivities, a band called “Elton Live The Ultimate Tribute” will play a concert. The concert will take place on the front field of the park near N. Peachtree Road.

Update: This event has been scheduled for a new date, Nov. 12.
