Peachtree Center Green Market

The Peachtree Center Green Market, 225 Peachtree St., has reopened and will continue every Thursday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. through September. Featuring fresh produce, handmade goods and delicious fare, attendees will also have the opportunity to enjoy live music, yard games, and weekly giveaways.

Sandy Springs has a new sushi restaurant called NoriFish. It opened quietly last week and is located at The Bishop apartment building at 1115 Springwood Connector. The restaurant is from the team behind Okiboru Tsukemen & Ramen, which is also located in Sandy Springs.

Two new restaurant concepts – Spina Pizza and Small Fry – are headed to the Atlanta Dairies development on Memorial Drive in Reynoldstown. After several successful pop-up events at Atlanta Dairies beginning in 2021, Neapolitan pizzeria Spina Pizza from Anthony Spina, Jr., son of Nina & Rafi and O4W Pizza creator Anthony Spina, Sr., will open by year’s end. Also announced for the fourth quarter is “elevated fast, fried comfort food” from Small Fry, which is the brainchild of 8Arm’s Skip Engelbrecht and Nhan Le.

Ryan and Jonathan Akly and Chef Ian Winslade, the team behind Mission and Market and Tre Vele, will open a Lebanese restaurant called Zakia in Buckhead at the Modera Prominence building this summer. According to Eater Atlanta, the menu will include traditional and original dishes from the country and regions throughout the Middle East. A pita oven is also being installed in the kitchen to bake fresh bread.

Wylie and Rum, a new Caribbean restaurant and rum bar, will open this summer at 45 Moreland Ave. The space will feature a large patio and dining room with seating for 60.

Farm Burger has announced that Chef Drew Van Leuvan has joined the grass-fed burger chain as its culinary director. A long-time veteran of the Atlanta restaurant scene, Van Leuvan led Buckhead’s Seven Lamps and was most recently, executive chef at Ecco Buckhead.
