Fulton County Schools said an IT security incident that involved one or more Innovation Academy students is under investigation.
Officials believe there was unauthorized access to information technology systems, according to a letter sent to parents and guardians.
FCS has taken measures to contain the incident and continues to monitor its IT security, the letter said.
The school district reported it is working with law enforcement and external partners to conduct a comprehensive network review to determine the scope of the incident and what data may have been accessed.
