The Sandy Springs Recreation and Parks Department has plans to improve the Morgan Falls Dog Park and wants to hear ideas from the public during two meetings.

The first informal meeting will be from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 10 at 100 Morgan Falls Road. The second meeting will take place from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 18 in the same location.

Improvements are expected to include better drainage to the large dog area, the addition of shade structures and furnishings, water fountains, dog washing stations, and more.

The 3.421-acre park features two fenced dog areas, one for small dogs and one for large dogs. It also has a boat ramp and a fishing pier.
