Switchman Hall, the Peoplestown food hall taking shape at Terminal South, will include a cocktail bar with a walk-up window and a sandwich stall serving New Orleans and Philly favorites.

Carl Northrop of coffee shop Black Coffee ATL will open Everyday People Caffeine and Cocktails and Saint Jawns at the food hall. The two stalls join Te Quiero Tacos, Tiger K Cup Bob, Sabu K Ramen, Southern Grace, The Original Hot Dog Factory, and Life Bistro at Switchman Hall.

Expect coffee and grab-and-go breakfast during the morning at Everyday People before the stall transitions to lunch and cocktails later in the day and late-night food in the evenings. A walk-up window will also be available for takeout orders along Ridge Avenue. West End coffee roastery Portrait Coffee will supply the coffee, including the beans used to make an espresso martini.

As for Saint Jawns, Northrop says the sandwich stall honors his late mother. She was a self-taught chef and created the food stall concept before she died in December. Saint Jawns will serve takes on some of the most famous sandwiches from New Orleans and Philadelphia, two cities known for their “killer signature sandwiches.” This includes the Cajun Jawn with Cajun-spiced shaved chicken or beef topped with candied jalapenos, smoked provolone, and Cajun aioli on a toasted amoroso roll and a classic-style hoagie called the Italian Jawn. Expect sides of Cajun-seasoned spiral fries and fried pickles on the menu.

Switchman Hall takes over two former warehouses on the Terminal South property and will eventually feature 18 food stalls. Two full-service restaurants will also open at Terminal South in the coming year, including Pur Zen Mimosa Wine Bar

Terminal South broke ground earlier in February and should open later this fall. The redevelopment project is the last stop on MARTA’s rapid bus transit (BRT) expansion stretching from Downtown to Peoplestown near the Southside Beltline trail.
