Three people – including two teenagers – were wounded in a shooting on Peachtree Street in Downtown Atlanta on Saturday evening, according to media reports.

According to a preliminary report from the Atlanta Police Department, officers responded to 240 Peachtree St. just after 6 p.m. on March 9 following a report of people shot.

Upon arrival, officers located a 15-year-old male who sustained an apparent gunshot wound to the left ankle and a 16-year-old male who sustained an apparent gunshot wound to his right arm and right ankle.

Officers also located a 38-year-old female who appeared to be an innocent bystander who sustained an apparent gunshot wound to the left leg.

All three of the wounded were transported to the hospital for treatment of their wounds.

The shooting took place near Peachtree Center and the “hotel district,” which includes the Westin Peachtree Plaza. The investigation continues, police said.
