A suspect was arrested on felony charges after a call about car break-ins near Mutation Brewing in Sandy Springs early on March 7.

Sandy Springs Police Department officers responded to the call at approximately 1 a.m. near 5825 Roswell Road, according to an SSPD Facebook post. Once they arrived, they learned a suspect entered two vehicles in the parking lot.

Witnesses described the suspect as a white male with a blue backpack who had just left heading toward Carpenter Drive.

Officers found a subject who matched the description in the Comfort Inn parking lot south of the reported crimes. The suspect was found to still have possession of items taken from the vehicles and was taken into custody.

Greyson Smythers was placed under arrest and charged with two felony counts of entering auto, according to the post. The SSPD said Smythers had multiple warrants for his arrest from other jurisdictions.
