The U.S. flagship Wello Works, a co-working and wellness concept, is open in Sandy Springs after the launch of its first location in Sydney, Australia, earlier this year.

Tony de Leede created the concept with his daughter, Nicole de Leede Harmon. They opened a 10,000-square-foot location at 4920 Roswell Road in Sandy Springs.

De Leede is Australian and came to metro Atlanta in the 1980s and opened 20 Australian Body Works gym locations before selling them in 2000.

“When this particular spot and suite became available in Fountain Oaks, we just kind of had this very good gut feeling when we saw it, and it just sort of felt like home,” Harmon said of the Wello space.

She said the world has evolved since COVID where people worked from home, and people want to get out and keep a work-life balance.

Some people who don’t need a co-working space may visit just for the wellness side, she said. A person whose company lacks physical office space can use a desk at Wello Works.

Harmon said the wellness side appeals to people looking for work-life balance, or just life balance. She said they are trademarking the term “Wello” as a wellness break that they want people to take once a day.

She said most people don’t have more than 20 minutes to devote to a wellness break, so the “Wello” sessions are scheduled for 10 to 20 minutes.

Wello Works offers two distinct areas: Wello Coworking and The Wello Collective. The business designed “The Wello” for its clients as a wellness break to promote balance and well-being.

Wello Coworking offers workstations, private offices, and meeting rooms for individuals and teams.

Central to the concept is the Wello Lounge, which features O2 breathing chairs, state-of-the-art massage chairs, and Zen studios for yoga and meditation.

The Wello Collective has HydroMassage, LED light therapy beds, infrared saunas, CryoLounge cold therapy, and specialized meditation pods.

Wello Works offers memberships – passes that come in packs and day passes – Harmon said. Monthly memberships to the lounge start at $199 and include unlimited access to the core wellness amenities The next level on the Wello Coworking side would be the inclusion of a dedicated desk.

The first of two phases of Wello Works has opened, Harmon said, which includes the lounge and the wellness side. Phase two equipment and furniture are being delivered for the quiet working or dedicated co-working space where offices and desks are set up.
