RELATED: Harris rallies her troops in Atlanta
Presumed Democratic presidential nominee, Vice President Kamala Harris, visits Atlanta today, July 30, for a campaign rally at the Georgia State University Convocation Center, 455 Capitol Ave.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Harris will be greeted by U.S. Sens. Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock, while rapper Megan Thee Stallion is expected to put in an appearance.
Harris will speak at 7 p.m., but heavy traffic is expected from noon until 9 p.m. around Downtown. Pollard Street will be closed and there will be rolling roadblocks for Harris’ arrival and departure.
Republican nominee Donald Trump’s campaign announced this morning that he and Vice Presidential pick JD Vance will also speak at the GSU Convocation Center on Saturday, Aug. 3, at 5 p.m.
