High school students in Fulton County can participate in the CONNECTED: Youth Leadership Program designed to inspire them to become the next generation of leaders.

The Fulton County Department of Community Development program provides students with a year of experience to develop critical leadership knowledge, explore future career interests, and make informed decisions about education and training paths to achieve career goals. Participants will have access to live and online leadership training, special incentives, and connections with diverse peers and professionals throughout Fulton County.

They will use 21st Century Leaders’ (21CL) online learning platform, Leadership Connect. The platform is housed on Rali, an Atlanta-based learning management system and one of 21CL’s partnering companies.

Students must be enrolled in high school,  be Fulton County residents, and have access to a computer/tablet and Wi-Fi to participate in this virtual leadership program.

Incentives to encourage and reward participant engagement include a $25 sign-on, $25 New Year bonus, $100 weekly gift card drawing, $25 end-of-year bonus, and technology prizes such as ear pods, laptops, and tablets.

Live workshops and leadership summits will be part of the program. Senior students will have an opportunity for a paid summer internship and a $2,500 scholarship.

Registration ends at 11:59 p.m. on Sept. 20. Completed applications may be submitted through the Fulton County website application link at www.fultoncountyga.gov/CYLP.
