The Community Assistance Center (CAC) will hold its 2024 Annual Gala fundraiser on Oct. 26 at The Studio Theatre in the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center.
This year’s theme, “Under the Big Top,” will present a circus experience as guests support CAC’s work to prevent hunger and homelessness in the Perimeter area.
Attendees will be served a seated three-course dinner and drinks. A live auction and an online auction will follow, featuring unique items and exclusive experiences. The evening will feature personal stories and performances aligned with the circus-inspired theme.
“Our Annual Gala is more than just a celebration; it’s an opportunity for the community to unite and create meaningful change,” said Francis K. Horton, CEO of CAC. “We deeply appreciate the support of our sponsors, committees, and all who join us in this important cause.”
The gala’s Host and Planning Committees, co-chaired by Arjé McCarty and Dana Wexler, make the gala possible, he said. CAC also acknowledged the gala’s sponsors, including the presenting sponsor, Mercedes-Benz USA, and every ticket holder who helps further CAC’s mission of supporting neighbors in need.
All funds raised from the gala will directly benefit CAC’s programs, which provide critical food, financial aid, and essential services to individuals and families in need across the Perimeter area.
CAC has been a community resource for more than 37 years, helping neighbors facing hardship with vital support and hope.
Information, a limited number of host and sponsor tables, and general admission tickets with a discount for couples are available to buy at www.cacgala.com. A single ticket costs $180, a couples ticket $350, host committee admission for four costs $1,500, and a full host committee table (seating for 10) $2,500.
