Tandoori Pizza and Wing Co.
Colony Square, Midtown

Bhojanic chef and owner Archna Becker transformed her Politan Row food hall stall Tandoori Pizza and Wing Co. into a restaurant at Colony Square. Located across from Chick-fil-A, the expanded menu features naan-style pizza, wings, samosas, and a full bar. The restaurant also includes Bhojanic Market selling grab-and-go dishes, heat-and-serve meals, and pantry items. 

Paya Thai Kitchen
Westside Provisions District, 1198 Howell Mill Road, Blandtown

Atlanta restaurateur Alex Kinjo opened Paya Thai in the former Redbird space across from Bar Blanc at Westside Provisions District. Look for dishes with ties to Thai nobility and royalty on the menu.

Halford’s
1174 Euclid Avenue, Little Five Points

Heavy metal-themed bar Halford’s is now open in the former Little Five Points Corner Tavern space. The bar is owned and operated by a former Corner Tavern employee, Mikey Braswell.

Brash Coffee
667 Auburn Avenue, Old Fourth Ward

The Atlanta coffee shop and roastery opened a new location along the Eastside Beltline at the Junction Krog District. The container coffee shop will eventually serve cocktails to enjoy on the communal covered patio. 

Dil Bahar Cafe & Market
5825 Glenridge Drive, Sandy Springs

The popular Pakistani restaurant known for its falooda, chai, baked goods, and kebabs, temporarily closed in Norcross but now includes a location in Sandy Springs. Look for daily lunch specials of chicken tikka masala and biryani with the restaurant offering delivery via UberEats to the surrounding area, including parts of in-town Atlanta.

Heart & Seoul Cafe
161 Norcross Street, Roswell

Family-owned and operated Korean cafe Heart & Seoul is now open in downtown Roswell serving breakfast and lunch as well as coffee, tea, beer, and soju. Expect dishes like the aegi sandwich with a fried egg, kimchi pancake, Spam, and American cheese on an English muffin, mandoo (Korean pork and vegetable dumplings), kimbap, and dosirak lunch boxes served with choice of protein, rice, dumplings, japchae, and banchan. 

Contrast Artisan Ales
101 Church Street, Marietta

Chase Medlin opened a second location of his Chamblee brewery Contrast Artisan Ales in Marietta. This location will mainly be a tasting room and another fermenting location for beers brewed in Chamblee. Look for between 10 and 16 beers on tap. Snacks like charcuterie and cheeses sourced from The Local Peach in Norcross will also be available.

Fluffy Fluffy
3983 Lavista Road, Tucker

The Japanese dessert cafe known for its popular soufflé-style pancakes and croffles is now open in the Northlake Festival Shopping Center.

Hen Mother Cookhouse
50 South Main Street, Alpharetta.

A second location of Soraya Khoury’s popular Johns Creek breakfast and brunch restaurant opened in the former Restaurant Holmes space in downtown Alpharetta. This location will eventually include an expanded menu and a full bar. Michelin listed the Johns Creek location as a recommended restaurant in the new 2024 dining guide to Atlanta.

Fire & Seoul
3616 Satellite Boulevard, Duluth

The team behind Okiboru just opened wood-fired Korean barbecue restaurant Fire & Seoul in Duluth. Expect protein choices like galbi jjim (braised short ribs), marinated and unmarinated wood-fired dino short ribs, and applewood smoked pork belly.

Mister 01 Extraordinary Pizza
6405 Blue Stone Road, Sandy Springs 

Miami-based thin-crust pizza chain Mister 01 will replace The General Muir at City Springs. 

Rosetta Bakery
120 High Street, Dunwoody

Miami-based Italian bakery-cafe Rosetta Bakery will open at High Street in Dunwoody next spring. Expect pizza, focaccia, sandwiches, desserts, and baked goods like cream-filled Italian doughnuts or bombolone. Another location is planned for Two Buckhead Plaza. 

Arepa Grill Kitchen & Wine
45 Oak Street, Roswell

The owners behind Buford Highway Venezuelan restaurant Arepa Grill will open a full-service location in the former Casa Robles space on Oak Street in Roswell. It appears the restaurant is within a month of opening and will include a full bar and expanded menu to include new dishes like paella, gazpacho, and a Spanish omelet. Served at room temperature, the quiche-like dish includes eggs and potatoes.

Avenue East Cobb
4475 Roswell Road, Marietta

The owners behind Italian bakery and coffee shop Giulia will open a second location at the East Cobb shopping center, along with a new Italian restaurant called Luga. Luga will serve antipasti, Roma-style pizzas, and house-made pastas. Both restaurants should open next spring. In addition to Giulia and Luga, a location of Tenku Sushi Elevation will also open next spring and include omakase and robata grill dishes and a rooftop bar. 

Soberish
1277 Mado Loop, Chattahoochee Hills

A location of nonalcoholic bottle shop and cannabis boutique Soberish will open at Serenbe in Chattahoochee Hills on Nov. 2. It joins the original location in Kirkwood.
