Trader Joe’s new Sandy Springs store will open Friday, Nov. 1, in Chastain Market.
The 11,000-square-foot store, located at 4600 Roswell Road NE, is the second in the Sandy Springs area. The other store is north of I-285 at 6277 Roswell Road NE.
A ribbon cutting will be held just before the opening at 9 a.m. with Store Captain Reggie Jones and his crew members welcoming customers.
The store will hire more than 40 new crew members from surrounding areas and transfer in others from neighboring Trader Joe’s stores. Applications can be found online.
The Sandy Springs (Chastain) Trader Joe’s will donate 100 percent of its products that go unsold but can still be used to non-profit, community-based organizations daily in Trader Joe’s Neighborhood Shares Program.
The store will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
