Marrakech Express
2450 Atlanta Road, Smyrna
The Mediterranean and Moroccan pop-up and farmers market food stall, owned by Amal Alaoui, opened as a permanent restaurant in Smyrna late last month.

Kitchen & Kocktails
Perimeter Mall, 4400 Ashford Dunwoody Road, Perimeter Center
The Southern comfort food chain, owned by Kevin Kelley, opened at Perimeter Mall. Kitchen & Kocktails includes locations in D.C., Charlotte, Chicago, and Dallas. 

Dips Kitchen
Krog Street Market, Inman Park
The new Krog Street Market food stall features from-scratch dips created by Chef Whitney Otakwa, including shrimp dip and schug hummus.

Brasserie Margot
Four Seasons, 75 14th Street, Midtown
The new Four Seasons French restaurant, led by former Tiny Lou’s chef Jon Novak, serves everything from steak frites and bouillabaisse to seafood towers and foie gras.

La Santa Tacos & Bar
905 Juniper Street, Midtown
The Mexican restaurant and tequila bar opened in the former Rwby and The Lawrence space at the corner of Juniper and 8th streets.

Madre Salva
Uptown Atlanta, 570 Main Street, Lindbergh
Peruvian fusion restaurant and ceviche bar Madre Salva opened at Uptown Atlanta. The menu leans into coastal and Peruvian dishes, including ceviche, tiraditos, lomo saltado, and causa. The bar serves cocktails like the Pisco Sour, beer, and wine.

Roswell Junction food hall
340 South Atlanta Street, Roswell
This new food hall, serving coffee, beer, and wine, includes the following stalls: Cleaver & Co.; Pretty Little Tacos; Shawarma Shack; Across the Coast Seafood; Mad Dad Philly’s; Flying Fish; and Flourish Cafe.

Grana
1035 Alpharetta Street, Roswell
The third location of Grana Italian restaurant from Chef Pat Pascarella opened at the Southern Post complex in Roswell. 

Mellow Mushroom
1015 Boulevard, Grant Park
The new Mellow Mushroom prototype restaurant opened along the Beltline in Grant Park. It features an updated, modern design, self-ordering kiosks, and dishes exclusive to this location.

Small Fry
777 Memorial Drive, Reynoldstown
Backed by El Malo owner Omar Ferrer, Spina Pizza owner Anthony Spina Jr., and Pollo Primo owner Duane Kulers, Small Fry at Atlanta Dairies serves fried seafood baskets, sandwiches like fried chicken vodka parmesan, and fried hot dogs. Wine, beer, and a tight list of cocktails are available.

The Brunch @ East Atlanta
845 Flat Shoals Avenue, East Atlanta
Brunch dishes served here include lamb chops and eggs, a vegan breakfast plate, and lobster and grits. The Brunch also serves all Halal meat.

Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream
3330 Piedmont Road, Buckhead
Ohio-based ice cream shop Handel’s, founded in 1945, is now open at Buckhead Landing. The shop offers 48 different ice cream flavors daily. A second location opened in November at Midtown Promenade.

The Echo Room
Westside Motor Lounge, 725 Echo Street, English Avenue
Westside Motor Lounge now includes an all-vinyl listening lounge called Echo Room. Music is curated by four Atlanta DJs — DJ Kemit, Kai Alcé, Salah Ananse, and Mike Zarin — and Westside Motor Lounge’s Kelly Campbell. Cocktails are available.

Bread Museum
3473 Old Norcross Road, Duluth
The bakery-cafe is now open in the heart of Duluth for freshly baked bread, pastries, and desserts paired with coffee and tea drinks.

Gu Thai
1290 Old Peachtree Road, Duluth
The Thai restaurant serves a mix of entrees like pad thai and khao soi and snacks such as satay, dumplings, and basil rolls. Dine-in service and takeout are offered, with the latter available via self-ordering kiosks.

Heaps
2752 East Ponce de Leon Avenue, Decatur
The New Zealand hand pie pop-up becomes a restaurant on Jan. 9, serving savory meat pies, fish and chips, flaky white fish sandwiches, and salads. Look for sides of chips (fries) and curry mashed potatoes and gravy.

Boqueria
Colony Square, 1221 Peachtree Street, Midtown
The Atlanta location of the Barcelona-inspired tapas restaurant and cocktail bar opens in January at Colony Square. Boqueria features locations in D.C., Boston, Chicago, Nashville, Hartford, and multiple locations in New York City.

Portillo’s
790 Cobb Place Boulevard, Kennesaw
The popular Chicago-style hot dog and Italian beef chain opens its first Georgia location later this year in Kennesaw.

Nostalgia Wine & Jazz Lounge
Near Mercedes-Benz Stadium and State Farm Arena
The Atlanta Business Chronicle reports that a location of Cincinnati-based Nostalgia Wine & Jazz Lounge will open this year near Mercedes-Benz Stadium and State Farm Arena.

Side Saddle Wine Saloon & Bar
680 Hamilton Avenue, Boulevard Heights
The owners of Finca to Filter will open a location of the popular coffee shop and a new wine bar called Side Saddle by the end of February along the Southside Beltline.

Tipsy Thaiger
605 Atlanta Street, Roswell
The Thai food pop-up will soon become a restaurant and bar, taking over the old Public House space just off Roswell’s historic town square.

Politan Row at the Forum Peachtree Corners
5155 Peachtree Parkway, Peachtree Corners
Four new restaurant stalls join the Peachtree Corners location of Politan Row, which should open by early spring.

Boca Taqueria is owned by Chef Helio Bernal, who owned D Boca N Boca Taqueria in Summerhill and founded mobile food cart The Real Mexican Vittles.

Kimchi Red already includes two locations in Johns Creek and Alpharetta. The Korean restaurant stall at Politan Row will serve its popular Korean fried chicken in flavors like honey butter balsamic and spicy kimchi, along with other dishes like kimchi fried rice and bulgogi

LOL Burger Bar, owned by Cassidy Jones, will serve griddled burgers loaded with toppings like pulled pork or mac and cheese, along with wings, fries, and milkshakes. A location of LOL Burger Bar is open on Defoors Ferry Road in Underwood Hills.

Sahirah Kebab & Curry, owned by Abdul and Rabia Siddiqui, will serve curries, samosas, and biryani. The Peachtree Corners location joins the Politan Row at Colony Square location.

The Medley in Johns Creek
11650 Johns Creek Parkway, Johns Creek
The mixed-use development emerging in Johns Creek will include a yet-named grocery and a location of Alpharetta’s Rena’s Italian Fishery & Grill.
