Rome Georgia Pride will host its inaugural Big Gay 5K & 1 Mile Pride Stride on Saturday, March 1.

The 5K race kicks off at 9 a.m., followed by the 1 Mile Pride Stride at 9:45 a.m. This event supports Rome GA Pride, with all proceeds benefiting the local LGBTQIA+ community.

The scenic, USATF-certified course winds through the Oostanaula River Trails, starting and finishing at Ridge Ferry Park.

Registration fees are $30 for the 5K and $25 for the 1 Mile, with prices increasing on race day to $40. Can’t attend but still want to support? Sign up as a “Ghost Runner.”
