Dill Dinkers, an American indoor pickleball franchise, is set to open a new facility in West End this upcoming March.
Located beside Lee & White, the new facility will feature 11 indoor, championship-sized pickleball courts, providing plenty of space and reservation opportunities for local players.
Additionally, the new Dill Dinkers location will offer clinics, lessons, leagues, social events, business advertising, as well as event rentals for the public.
According to Dill Dinkers, the new location will focus on fostering community and helping players of all experience levels to develop their skills, along with “providing optimal playing conditions for fun and safety.”
“We want to create an inclusive, community-centric environment for all ages, whether you’re trying pickleball for the first time, or are on your way to becoming a pro,” said Daniel Hardeman, regional franchise developer for Dill Dinkers and Chosewood resident.
The West End site is the first of several planned across Atlanta, with new locations in the works for Fulton, DeKalb, Cobb, Gwinnett and Cherokee counties.
“Pickleball has 1.1 million players in the Atlanta metro area currently, with a 51.8% year-over-year growth rate because it’s easy to learn, highly social, excellent exercise and can be enjoyed from ages eight to eighty,” said Hardeman. “There’s a shortage of court space and lack of structure for skills progression, so players are turning to places like Dill Dinkers.”
The grand opening date has yet to be announced, although Dill Dinkers said that it will be shared on the pickleball franchise’s website in mid-February — with opportunities to register for free play sessions coinciding with the announcement.
In advance to the West End opening, memberships are currently open to the public, with special offers available for early joiners.
