This Valentine’s Day, there are some tantalizing experiences perfect for lovebirds at local galleries and museums. If you’re in the market for something truly unique and artful, look no further than this romantic roundup of five artful activities!

1️⃣ Still need a thoughtful gift for Valentine’s Day? Well, maybe some unique, handmade art made by some of Atlanta’s best local artists would brighten your love’s day. ABV Gallery in East Atlanta Village presents Art from the Heart, a one night only live art experience.

On Thurs., Feb. 13 from 7-9 p.m., artists Courtney Hicks, George F. Baker III, Sami Jacq, Sanithna, Smeesh, and Yoyo Ferro will make one-of-a-kind works of art personalized for you. The artwork will be made in front of your very eyes, and available for purchase. What a great way to love your local art community AND celebrate Valentine’s Day!

2️⃣ At the High Museum of Art, their HeART Party has a full night of activities suitable for those already in love, those falling in love, or those looking for love. On Fri., Feb. 14 from 6-9 p.m. the museum will host a multifaceted art experience including guided tours focused on romance, art-making opportunities, and beverages to set the mood.

The evening starts with line dancing lessons with Terence from DanceOut Atlanta, followed by an open dance floor and tunes by DJ Xzact.

If you’re not yet coupled up, there’s still something for you in this night’s programming: Cupid’s Catch.

This unique experience invites pre-registered attendees to craft a PowerPoint deck accompanied by a five-minute presentation about one of their single friends. The single friend does not need to be present for the presentation but must check in. More details such as what to include (and what not to include – no nudity, folks!) can be found in the registration form here

3️⃣ The Atlanta Ink Tattoo & Art Gallery in Grant Park has a couples-only night of artful romance planned for Friday night. Sip & Paint standard tickets start at $60 and come with pre-drawn 11×14” canvases, a paint kit with everything you need to complete a work of art, a bottle of wine, romantic tunes, and a fun atmosphere with Atlanta Ink artists.

The $100 VIP couple tickets also come with 2 Atlanta Ink T-Shirts and 25% off vouchers for Atlanta Ink Services. Limited tickets are available, so register online today. Two sessions, one from 5-7:30 p.m. and another from 8-10:30 p.m. on Fri., Feb. 14.

4️⃣ The folks over at Decatur Glassblowing have a special hands-on love-themed workshop offering this month. Offered daily through Sun., Feb. 16, there are multiple sessions of their 2-hour long Heart Paperweight public group classes.

These hands-on experiences are led by instructors who demonstrate making an item, and then participants have a chance to make their own. Tickets are $70 to make one piece. Additional dates for these classes are later in the month, on Fri., Feb. 21, Sat., Feb. 22, and Sun., Feb. 23.
