
Heritage Sandy Springs will host the third annual Northside Saint Patrick’s Festival by the Springs on Saturday, March 22.
The entertainment lawn will be the site for all things Irish at Heritage Sandy Springs, 6110 Blue Stone Road, Sandy Springs. Vendor tents and a warm-up act will open things up at 11 a.m., with the opening ceremony starting at 11:30 a.m. Music and dance will begin at noon, and the festival closes at 5 p.m.
Irish and Irish-themed music will be featured. Dance companies scheduled to perform include Burke Connolly Irish Dance, The Roundabouts, The Phoenix School of Irish Arts, Drake Irish Dance, and The Muckers. A traditional Irish “Session” and the North Springs High School Band also will be featured.
The area around the Heritage Amphitheater will include a Kids Korner sponsored by Solidarity Sandy Springs, and vendors offering Irish cuisine and other fares.
The Government of Ireland Emigrant Support Program is one of the festival sponsors.
The event is free to attend. Donations are appreciated.
