Have you heard?

Last Saturday’s tamale pop-up from Mi Barrio, held in the parking lot of the former Mexican restaurant’s location in Grant Park, was such a success that the family plans to host another one Saturday, March 1, at 3 p.m.! This time, tamales will come filled with chicken salsa verde and pork salsa roja. But sorry, no pre-orders

Neapolitan-style pizzeria Feel Goods Pizza (pictured) will open this spring at Terminal South in Peoplestown. Backed by Andy Bibliowicz of Atlanta Collaborative and Stroll Coffee y Snacks, Feel Goods Pizza will include two kitchens, one fully dedicated to serving gluten-free pizza and other dishes.

For our bourbon and coffee-loving readers, we’ve got a fun collab you should know about from two local brands. Athens-based coffee company Jittery Joe’s teamed up with Atlanta’s ASW Distillery to produce a bourbon barrel-aged coffee. This small batch, medium body roast of just 500 cans sees Nicaraguan beans steeped in ASW bourbon barrels, producing notes of toffee and clove. To celebrate the release, a breakfast-for-dinner launch party will take place on March 8, from 3-6 p.m., at ASW’s Armour Drive location. Tickets are $35 for one can of coffee and a drink. Food is available for an additional $15.

Speaking of coffee, Atlanta-based Kiid Coffee, founded by Georgia Tech alum David Sanborn and his 8-year-old son, Ethan, will be featured on “Shark Tank!” You can watch the Sanborns pitch their coffee company to the sharks–the “world’s first” coffee for kids at 99.9 percent caffeine and sugar-free–on Friday, March 7, at 8 p.m.

Here’s a progress report on two Dunwoody restaurants.

NFA Burger’s expansion is moving right along at the Chevron station on Chamblee Dunwoody Road. It appears framing is up for the expansion of the burger joint to include a stand-alone kitchen beside the gas station. After completion, NFA Burger will relocate operations to this new space, and the menu will expand to offer milkshakes and five types of sodas.

The sign is up for Dunwoody Village neighborhood steakhouse Steak and Grace which was slated to open in February. We’re keeping our eye out for this opening. To bring you up to speed, Steak and Grace takes over the First Watch space and aims to be a more affordable neighborhood steakhouse, according to owner Barry Mills.

Dreaming of Italy but don’t know where to start? Yeppa Studios – the team behind Atlanta restaurants Storico Fresco, Forza Storico, and Yeppa & Co.– announced the opening of Villa Yeppa in the Emilia-Romagna region of Northern Italy. Currently open for rental, the property is on the grounds of the family-run Enio Ottaviani Winery.

Thinking of Spain instead? And if Texas is more your speed, head on over to Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q on Saturday and Sunday.
