A boil water advisory for the Nancy Creek Road and Northside Parkway has been lifted by the Atlanta Department of Watershed Management.
A faulty water valve along Northside Parkway near Howell Mill Road caused an outage to homes, apartments, and businesses on Memorial Day has been fully repaired.
“Extensive sampling has now confirmed that there was no contamination within the public water system,” a DWM statement said. “As a result, residents and businesses in the affected area can resume using water for all purposes without boiling.”
The water outage affecting the Northside Parkway corridor and surrounding neighborhoods impacted both residential and commercial areas near I-75, Northside Parkway, and Howell Mill Road, including several apartment complexes.
