Platinum-selling country artist Walker Hayes will bring his “Unplugged” tour to the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center’s Byers Theatre on Nov. 16.

This exclusive, acoustic performance will give fans a closer look into the stories, songs, and experiences that have shaped this country music artist’s distinctive voice, according to a news release. 

 Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center Members can buy tickets beginning on Wednesday, Aug. 20 at 10 a.m. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Aug. 22 at 10 a.m. at SandySpringsPAC.com

The “Fancy Like” singer-songwriter topped the Billboard Hot 100 charts in 2021 and 2022. The release said as part of his new tour, Hayes blends heartfelt storytelling with soul-stirring songs, sharing the moments that have shaped his life – from personal triumphs and viral success to quiet family memories and unimaginable heartbreak. 

Songwriter and producer Shane McAnally will open the Nov. 16 show. McAnally has written and produced more than 50 No. 1 hits for artists, including Kacey Musgraves, Sam Hunt, Kenny Chesney and Miranda Lambert, the release said. McNally has earned three Grammy Awards, multiple ACM Songwriter of the Year honors, and more CMA Award nominations than any other songwriter in history.

Founder of SMACKSongs and co-president of Monument Records, McAnally has also starred on NBC’s Songland and co-wrote the Tony Award–winning Broadway musical Shucked.

The release said that he’s been recognized with Billboard’s Trailblazer Award for his contributions to country music and advocacy for the LGBTQ+ community. McNally’s work has been featured in The New York Times, Rolling Stone, Billboard, and on NPR’s Tiny Desk series.
