
A capella group Straight No Chaser heads out on its Holiday Road Tour this fall with a stop in Sandy Springs on Oct. 24.
The vocal ensemble will perform at the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center’s Byers Theatre, according to a news release. Tickets go on sale to Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center members on May 14 and the public on May 16.
The nine-man group formed at Indiana University, the release said. Its members include vocalists Walter Chase, Jerome Collins, Seggie Isho, Mike Luginbill, Steve Morgan, Jasper Smith, Luke Bob Robinson, Tyler Trepp, and Freedom Young.
The Holiday Road Tour is a nod to the “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” theme song. The tour launches on Oct. 17 in Findlay, Ohio, and runs through New Year’s Eve, according to the release. It will coincide with the release of “Holiday Road,” Straight No Chaser’s first full-length collection of holiday songs since 2020’s “Social Christmasing.”Fans can expect a fresh mix of festive classics, new favorites, and signature banter.
Straight No Chaser has been entertaining audiences for more than 20 years. They have earned RIAA Gold certification, collaborated with legends like Paul McCartney, Elton John and Stevie Wonder, and have amassed more than three million album sales, a billion Pandora streams, and 1.5 million concert tickets sold worldwide, according to the release.
Tickets start at $66.70 and can be purchased at SandySpringsPAC.com.
New Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center memberships are available via the membership purchase page or by calling the box office at 770-206-2022, Tuesday through Friday, from noon to 5 p.m.
Byers Theatre spans 50,000-square-feet and seats 1,096 guests across three levels, including exclusive box seats.
