On Oct. 28, the Greater North Fulton Chamber announced that its President and CEO Kali Boatright will retire in June 2028, capping what will be a decade leading the business advocacy nonprofit.

Boatright has served in her role at the chamber of commerce since April 2018. Under her direction, the GNFCC achieved 5-Star Accreditation, relocated its offices to Avalon, and established the North Fulton Economic Alliance.

“I want to thank my exceptional chamber team, our 1,300 members and investors, and the many business leaders  who have served this Chamber during my tenure,” Boatright said. “I am grateful for the board’s trust, guidance, and leadership over what will be 10-years of service, and I am dedicated to leading a successful transition to an  incredible new CEO as well as completing several more major initiatives over the next 18 months.”

The Greater North Fulton Chamber announcement said Boatright informed the board of directors of her intent to retire at their regularly scheduled Oct. 27 meeting. She also shared an 18-month transition calendar designed to allow for a comprehensive national search and training period for the newly selected CEO.

Chamber Chair Laura Madajewski said Boatwright’s dedication of her time, energy, and leadership to the chamber and business community deserves meaningful recognition.

“We are grateful to work alongside her during this 18-month transition to maintain continuity for members and partners and advance our strategic priorities,” Madajewski said. “We will thoughtfully select our next leader to advance the chamber’s mission.”

Additional information about the search for the chamber’s next president and CEO will be shared throughout the process.
