
Tickets are on sale now for the Sandy Springs Foundation’s inaugural Celebrate Sandy Springs gala on Oct. 9 to mark the city’s 20th anniversary.
“Celebrate Sandy Springs is about more than marking 20 years—it’s about bringing our community together to honor our shared history, celebrate our accomplishments, and look ahead to the future,” said Christine Propst, Sandy Springs Foundation chairperson, according to a news release.
Tickets are available online and are expected to sell quickly. Single tickets cost $120. All sponsorships have been sold out. The gala will be from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 9 at the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center. The release said festive casual attire is encouraged.

The gala will feature dinner, live entertainment, a raffle, an auction, and very special guests.
The release said raffle tickets are available for two prizes. The first is a seven-night stay for two in Bali, Kauai, Costa del Sol, or another destination. The other raffle prize is a $5,000 custom jewelry piece designed exclusively for the winner by Jewelry Artisans. The drawing will take place at the event on Oct. 9. Attendance is not required to win.
Bidding for the silent auction opens on Oct. 1. Residents can preview the auction items available now. Participation is open to everyone, and attendance at the gala is not required to bid and win, according to the release. Highlights include VIP City Experiences such as a chance to lead the Lantern Parade or a behind-the-scenes tour of the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center. Trips include a week at a private villa in Provence, five nights in the Greek Isles, or an Aspen Ski getaway. Special dining opportunities include an in-home gourmet dinner prepared by Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center Executive Chef Karl Elliott, or an exclusive wine tasting at the mayor’s house. A live auction at the event will feature a $12,000 diamond bracelet from Lee Brant Jewelry & Watches.
