Tucker Civic Association will offer voters the chance to interact with mayoral and city council candidates and hear where they stand on the issues Thursday night.
TCA will host the Tucker Mayor/City Council Election Candidate Forum from 6-9 p.m. Oct. 9 at Northlake Church of Christ, 1625 Cooledge Road. All three mayoral and six city council candidates are expected to be in attendance for the meet and greet and planned forum, according to Neal Stubblefield, president of Tucker Civic Association.
Here’s the schedule for Thursday’s forum:
- 6 p.m. – Candidate meet and greet
- 6:45 – City council candidate forum
- 8 p.m. – Mayoral candidate forum
“We especially hope that Tucker residents will come out for the “meet & greet” at the front end of the evening,” Stubblefield said. “They can meet all the candidates, ask questions, and get to understand their positions on issues important to our community.”
