Costumed storytellers bring the tales of historic Oakland Cemetery’s most notable and notorious residents to life in these popular nighttime tours.
Little Five Points Halloween Festival & Parade
Oct. 18-19, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The two-day event will feature 100+ vendors, live music, wrestling, skate ramps, and the annual parade at noon on Sunday.
Boo at the Zoo
Oct. 18-19 and Oct. 25-26, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Zoo Atlanta is hosting its annual family event with trick or treating, themed entertainment and activities, costumed characters, and more. Costumes are encouraged.

Jazz on the Lawn Finale
Oct. 17, 7:30 p.m.
Callanwolde Fine Arts Center wraps its 2025 series with a performance by Joe Gransden and powerhouse vocalist Karla Harris.
World Party Festival
Oct. 17-19, noon to 10 p.m.
Head to Historic Fourth Ward Park on the Atlanta Beltline for a weekend of EDM (electronic dance music), food, fashion, and interactive activities. DJs and international music acts will be performing throughout the weekend on two stages.

Spelman and Morehouse Homecoming
Oct 17-19
SpelHouse Homecoming week culminates at both colleges with parties, alumnae events, tailgates and more as the Morehouse Maroon Tigers face the Lane Dragons on Saturday at 1 p.m.
Brookhaven International Fest
Oct. 18-19, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
 This year’s estival will be held at 1801 Corporate Boulevard NE at the Peachtree Creek Greenway. International sensations Proyecto Uno and Third World with special guest Kumar Fyah are the concert headliners, while visitors will also find live cultural performances, international cuisine, an art walk, interactive art creation, a Kidz Zone, health screenings and vendors. A 5K race to benefit We Love Buford Highway and wrestling demonstration from Lucho Libre are both set for Sunday.
Ideas Festival Emory
Oct. 18, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Emory University will host this day-long event at its Oxford College campus featuring more than 30 scientists, scholars, musicians, filmmakers, and other creative minds. Award-winning musician and author Rosanne Cash will deliver the keynote. Read more about the event here.

Taste of ChambleeÂ
Oct. 18, 3 to 8 p.m.
More than 50 local restaurants and bars will be participating in the festival, which also features live music, an area for kids, a beer garden for watching college football, and a Wine Down Tent for cocktails and wine.
Decatur BBQ Fest
Oct. 18, noon to 6 p.m.
The annual festival returns to Harmony Park in the Oakhurst neighborhood with barbecue from Ford’s BBQ, live music, arts & crafts, Deep South Wrestling and more.
OktoberFEAST
Oct. 18-19, 3 to 7 p.m.
The City of Sandy Springs presents the second annual event at City Green with live music by the Swinging Bavarians, German beers, authentic Bavarian cuisine, and polka lessons.
