The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra announced that it will be hosting “France-Atlanta Night at the ASO” on Friday, Nov. 21, at Atlanta Symphony Hall.

Led by renowned French conductor Nathalie Stutzmann, the concert event features performances from the Atlanta-based orchestra and acclaimed Francophone pianist Hélène Grimaud, who will be playing her own rendition of the Johannes Brahms classic, Piano Concerto No. 1.

Stutzmann comes to Atlanta after recently being honored for her contributions to the arts, receiving the “Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur” (France’s highest honor) and “Commandeur dans l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres” from the French government.

A post-concert reception (with food and drink offerings) and meet-and-greet with both Stutzmann and Grimaud will take place following the show.

Tickets, which include both concert admission and reception entry, are currently available on the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra website.

The event is part of the 16th annual France-Atlanta series. It was organized by the Consulate General of France in Atlanta, Alliance Française Atlanta and the French-American Chamber of Commerce Atlanta-Southeast, in addition to the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.
