Beloved stars of ā€œRuPaul’s Drag Raceā€ will be making the yuletide gay in Atlanta on Dec. 26 with A Drag Queen Christmas at Atlanta Symphony Hall.

The 38-city tour, which launched on Nov. 12 in Detroit, Michigan, is hosted by fan favorite Nina West. West told Georgia Voice that fans can expect both an ā€œelevatedā€ theatrical experience and the familiar camp of drag from the all-star lineup.

The cast includes season 17 queens Jewels Sparkles, Lexi Love, Suzie Toot, and Lydia B. Kollins; Bosco; Shea CouleƩ; Crystal Methyd; and Brooke Lynn Hytes.

ā€œThis is an all-star cast that’s going around the country and celebrating the season,ā€ West said. ā€œIt’s just a show filled with joy and fun. It’s really great.ā€

The show, West says, will be a celebration of both the warmth and connection of the holidays and the impact of queer joy, which she says is important to remember as the community prepares for a new year of attacks on LGBTQ+ rights.

ā€œWhat I try to do with this show as the MC is remind the audience how vital queer joy is and how vibrant it is and how much it means,ā€ she said. ā€œThe one thing that we can hold on to is this light that we have and share with one another, and that’s the one thing they’re trying to take away… The show is a show that does center our community and our joy so that people can go into the new year ready to take it on and face the challenges that are going to be there. Because it goes without saying, there are going to be some challenges because of the political climate.ā€

A Drag Queen Christmas is 18+ and two hours long, starting at 8 p.m. Fans can add on a VIP meet and greet experience to get early access to the venue, onstage photos with the queens, autographs, and exclusive tour merchandise. To purchase tickets and meet and greets, visit dragfans.com.
