Atlanta International School received an all-electric Sprinter van from Sandy Springs-based Mercedes-Benz USA in December 2025, as a part of the company’s sustainability push.

Mercedes-Benz USA’s “12 Days of Christmas” initiative allows its celebrity brand ambassadors to give the gift of sustainable, reliable transportation to an organization making a difference in their communities.

AIS officials say its operations team will use the new eSprinter to support the community, enabling greater efficiency and sustainability as the team carries out the important work of keeping the school’s campuses safe, beautiful, and well-maintained.

Founded in 1984, AIS is an International Baccalaureate World School. The school’s Buckhead and Sandy Springs campuses serve around 1,350 students in grades 3K–12, representing more than 90 nationalities and 60 languages.

Avery Nesbitt, the director of operations at Atlanta International School, said caring for the campus also means caring for the environment around it.

“Our operations team takes great pride in their work,” Nesbitt said. “This vehicle reflects how we’re moving forward — being intentional about sustainability while staying focused on what matters most: supporting our students, faculty, and community.”

The “Holidays with Love” concept began in 2023, created to emphasize the power of connection and the memorable moments made with Mercedes-Benz during the holiday season.

Jee-Seop Kim, managing director of Mercedes-Benz Vans USA, said his team worked with brand ambassadors to roll out their “most ambitious ‘Holidays with Love’ activation yet.”

“The versatile, all-electric eSprinter is a true workhorse and the perfect tool to help empower and more sustainably mobilize the highly deserving non-profits across the country selected by our ambassadors so they can keep up the crucial work they do serving the communities where they operate,” Kim said.

The “Holidays with Love” campaign also saw the donation of an eSprinter van to Northside Youth Organization at Chastain Park (via former Atlanta United goalie Brad Guzan) and Atlanta Public Schools (via Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson).

In addition to the “12 Days of Christmas” eSprinter initiative, MBUSA is dedicated to making a positive impact in the communities where its employees live and work.

MBUSA says it will continue its “Holidays with Love” campaign tradition by supporting students at its partner schools in Atlanta, Michael R. Hollis Innovation Academy and Leonora P. Miles Elementary, as part of the brand’s national corporate social responsibility program, Driving Your Future.
