A familiar voice has returned to Q99.7 in a rejigging of its on-air lineup.

Kristin Klingshirn – former co-host of The Bert Show – took over the hit music station’s afternoon slot, hosting The Kristin Show, on Jan. 26.

She’s joined by former Power 96.1 afternoon host Ethan Cole weekdays from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

“This is like being traded from the Saints to the Falcons,” said Cole in a news release.  “I’m so excited for this opportunity and incredibly thankful to everyone involved in making it happen. All I can say is… Atlanta, I’m home!”

Jade Jones has moved from afternoons to middays, airing from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

And Laura Dickerson has gone from middays to the 7 p.m. to midnight slot, keeping evenings live and local.

Overnight programming continues with Westwood One’s nationally syndicated Nightly with Jade & Tyler from midnight to 5 a.m.

Program Director Patrick Davis says the new lineup marks an exciting evolution for the radio station.

“The station is packed with highly creative and entertaining personalities delivering an enhanced and unique listening experience that Atlanta will love,” he said. “There’s even more in store for Q99.7 listeners this year, and we can’t wait for it all to unfold.”
