Job seekers will have the opportunity to connect directly with employers in metro Atlanta’s Central Perimeter at the semi-annual Sandy Springs Connects! Career Expo on Wednesday, March 11, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Community Assistance Center, the City of Sandy Springs, and the Greater Perimeter Chamber are hosting the job fair at the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center, located at 1 Galambos Way.

Organizers say the free, in-person event is designed to move hiring beyond online applications and create opportunities for face-to-face conversations and networking.

“Our business community continues to grow and create strong career opportunities across multiple industries,” Sandy Springs Mayor Rusty Paul said. “The Sandy Springs Connects! Career Expo brings together top employers and qualified talent in one place, and we’re proud to partner with CAC and the Greater Perimeter Chamber to strengthen our local workforce.”

Job fair specifics

The September 2025 iteration attracted more than 400 candidates and 30 local employers from diverse sectors, including healthcare, education, hospitality, and insurance. Employers included Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, State Farm, InterContinental Hotels Group, United Postal Service, Unum Group, Graphic Packaging International, Jackson Healthcare, Symphona, and Fulton County Schools.

Janet Dahlstrom, manager of the CAC’s Empowerment Center, said one of the goals of the career expo is for job seekers and the business community to meet in person to engage beyond the resume and make direct hiring connections.

“By bringing employers and jobseekers together in person, the Career Expo helps employers quickly connect with qualified applicants, and participants explore career paths with competitive wages, benefits, and long-term growth potential,” Dahlstrom said.

Sandy Springs is home to six Fortune 500 companies, hundreds of mid-size firms, and thousands of small businesses. Participating employers typically recruit for multiple roles across IT, sales, marketing, human resources, medical, legal, accounting, and operations.

Job seekers interested in attending are encouraged to register at sandyspringsconnects.com. Companies interested in participating can apply at the same link.

While walk-ins are welcome at the Career Expo, job seekers are encouraged to register in advance and participate in CAC’s free Career Expo Prep Day on Wednesday, Feb. 25, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Participants can meet with a CAC Career Advocate for a resume review, prepare an elevator speech, create an employer strategy, and receive tips. The one-on-one session will be specifically tailored to the jobseeker’s experience and goals to help maximize their success at the Career Expo.
