With the 2026 FIFA World Cup matches in Atlanta mere months away, cities and neighborhoods across the metro continue to prepare for throngs of soccer fans from around the globe with free concerts, big events, festivals, and infrastructure upgrades.

Decatur WatchFest ‘26
Tickets are now available for the free concerts part of Decatur WatchFest ‘26. Scheduled concerts include Big Boi on June 11, The War And Treaty on June 25, and Indigo Girls on July 19. Tickets dropped at 10 a.m. on Feb. 27, and Big Boi and the Indigo Girls quickly sold out.
All tickets are free, with a limit of four tickets per person. Concerts take place in Decatur Square. Fans can reserve tickets on Decatur WatchFest’s website. On match days, Decatur will host viewing events in the square.

Atlanta Beltline Fest
The Atlanta Beltline will soon announce dates for Atlanta Beltline Fest, a multi-weekend soccer fan celebration taking place along nearly 17 continuous miles of paved trail.
Expect pop-up markets, live performances, and cultural events, as well as a Beltline Marketplace hub at Pittsburgh Yards and its upcoming container courtyard.

Pittsburgh Yards’ food vendors
Pittsburgh Yards placed the final retail and restaurant shipping container this week in its container courtyard. Black Box Cafe will take over the container this spring.
Located steps from the Beltline in southwest Atlanta, the container courtyard will feature several local businesses. Coffee shop Urban Grind Brew Box, Coffyn Pyes, and The Creamy Spot ice cream shop just opened at the courtyard. Adam J’s Grilled Cheese, Black Box Cafe, and vegan hot dog stand Carrot Dog will open this spring.
