Both member choruses of Voices of Note – Atlanta Gay Men’s Chorus and Atlanta Women’s Chorus – are hosting concerts this month.

On March 14, the Atlanta Gay Men’s will transform Monday Night Garage into a lively, immersive concert experience with Pub AGMC. Chorus members will fill the room as they perform community songs, heartfelt ballads, and irresistible sing-alongs shoulder-to-shoulder with the audience.

Tickets for the 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. shows are already sold out, but spots are still available at the 2:30 p.m. show. General admission is $40 and VIP, which includes a souvenir AGMC pint glass and a free drink, is $60.

The following weekend, the Atlanta Women’s Chorus will honor the legacy of the 19th amendment with We Shake, We Shine on March 21. A powerful musical journey from struggle to triumph, the show celebrates the legacy of the women’s suffrage movement and the ongoing fight for justice and equality.

The chorus will be joined by Bella Voce, one of three premier choral ensembles within the Fine Arts Magnet Education Chorus Program at New Manchester High School in Douglas County, Georgia.

This long-awaited concert was originally scheduled for the 100th anniversary of the 19th amendment in 2020 but was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Tickets for both the 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. shows are still available. We Shake, We Shine will be held at Druid Hills Presbyterian Church.
