The 90th Annual Atlanta Dogwood Festival returns to Piedmont Park from Friday, April 10, to Sunday, April 12, for a weekend of art, music, and food.

Presented by Associated Credit Union, this year’s festival will have an admission charge to help offset the cost of producing the event, following a budget shortfall in 2025.

Tickets for Friday are $5 per adult (13+) and $10 per adult (13+) on Saturday and Sunday. A weekend pass is available for all three days for $15.

Tickets can be purchased in advance on the festival website or at the gate. Advance tickets provide access to the Entrance Express Lane. Tickets to special festival events — the Mimosa 5K and the Party in the Park VIP Experience — include the festival entrance fee on the same day.

Hours for this year’s festival are noon to 9 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Taking place on Saturday, April 11, this race is a Northside Hospital Peachtree Road Race Qualifier. Registration is available in advance or on-site. Mimosa 5K registrants receive free festival entrance on Saturday.

Atlanta High School Art Exhibition

Part of the festival’s mission to support young visual artists, the Atlanta High School Art Exhibition is held each year in the Community Center near the 12th Street park entrance. Displaying works from about 100 Georgia students selected from nearly 700 entries, this professional-level experience provides awards and prizes in addition to giving students the chance to have their work exhibited to the public. Festival attendees can stop by and cast a vote for the People’s Choice Award. The 2026 Atlanta High School Art Exhibition winners chosen by this year’s judges are featured here: dogwood.org/atlanta-high-school-art-exhibition/.

The Great Chair Hack of 2026

The Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA) is bringing The Great Chair Hack back to the festival on Saturday, April 11, from 1 to 4 p.m. in front of the Community Center (12th Street park entrance). This design challenge tasks teams of creative thinkers to transform an IKEA chair into anything other than a chair. Festival attendees can stop, watch, and see what these pre-registered design teams dream up.

Art Throwdown

The Art Throwdown gives festival attendees the chance to do just that. This live art competition takes place outside the Community Center on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. and pits teams of high school artists against each other in a variety of creative endeavors.

Kids Village

Presented by Dollywood Parks and Resorts and Pigeon Forge, families with youngsters in tow will find plenty to do at Kids Village. This area includes activities, crafts and games just right for entertaining toddlers and elementary-age visitors.

Organizers are encouraging visitors to take MARTA to the festival. A bike valet is available on 10th Street near Charles Allen Drive, and reserved vehicle parking is available through SpotHero. More parking information is available at dogwood.org/about/direction-parking/.
