It’s that time of year again. The Norcross Garden Club will host its annual spring plant sale at the nonprofit’s brick-and-mortar location from April 23-25 at 33 College Street and next door at Heritage Park.
“This event is always a sell-out hit as members of the garden club canvas Norcross and surrounding areas for plant donations that they dig up and repot for their sale at prices below big box stores,” garden club spokesperson Paul Sumner said.

The three-day sale is from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday.
Organizers said the annual sale offers great prices on pass-along plants, perennials, natives, vegetable starts, trees, shrubs, ferns, ground covers, and houseplants. There are also locally grown annuals and miscellaneous gardening items for sale.
Proceeds go toward the Garden Club of Georgia’s scholarships for students majoring in horticulture and related subjects, youth gardening activities, and the club’s operating budget.
Today, the Norcross-based nonprofit is a member of the National Garden Club, the Dogwood District of the state’s garden club, and the regional Deep South club. The Norcross Garden Club motto is “Beautifying, Conserving, and Educating.
In 2021, the nonprofit celebrated 90 years in Norcross. The city has an extensive historical timeline of the Norcross Garden Club, detailing more than a century of civic engagement. Read more here.
