Early voting is currently underway in Georgia, and LGBTQ+ advocacy group Georgia Equality has released its full list of endorsements for statewide races.
In its first round of endorsements announced earlier in April, Georgia Equality endorsed Jason Esteves for Governor and Jen Jordan and Miracle Rankin for the Georgia Supreme Court.

Among Georgia Equality’s endorsed candidates is Josh McLaurin for Lieutenant Governor. McLaurin is an attorney and state senator whose running on a platform periodizing rising costs, workers’ rights, health care, and housing.
“I have taken the ‘tough’ votes and given the ‘tough’ speeches,” McLaurin said. “I put ‘tough’ in scare quotes because I believe strongly that the positions I’ve taken do not actually carry political cost if they are taken with skill and conviction, which I have tried to do. I’m unafraid of cheap political attacks and will fight for the rights, safety, and overall wellbeing of vulnerable people as if they are my own family.”
Georgia Equality also endorsed Tanya Miller for Attorney General, Dana Barrett for Secretary of State, Brett Hulme for Labor Commissioner, and Will Wooten for the Georgia Court of Appeals.

Early voting began on April 27 and lasts until May 15. Election Day is May 19. For polling information, visit the Secretary of State’s My Voter Page.
