The City of Norcross invites the community to attend an open house for the five-year update of the Buford Highway Master Plan on June 16, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Gwinnett County Public Library Norcross Branch, 5735 Buford Hwy.

The city’s goal is to refresh its 2021 vision that guides investment and development along the two-mile stretch of Buford Highway running through the heart of Norcross.

The open house allows attendees to engage directly with the planning team, share ideas, and participate in interactive exercises. The event is open to anyone interested in the future of Buford Highway development, regardless of whether they live in Norcross.

Community input gathered during the open house will play a key role in shaping the updated master plan and guiding future decisions related to land use, mobility, economic development, and placemaking along the corridor.

“Buford Highway is one of Norcross’ most important corridors, and this update is an opportunity to build on its strengths while planning for its future,” Mayor Craig Newton said in a release from the city. “We encourage everyone, residents, business owners, and visitors alike, to join us and help shape a vision that reflects our community’s needs and aspirations.”
