It’s time to splash into summer at one of Brookhaven’s pools or splash pads beginning Memorial Day weekend.
On May 23, the pools at Lynwood Park, 3360 Osborne Road, Briarwood Park, 1496 Briarwood Road NE, and Murphey Candler Park, 4051 Candler Lake West NE, opened for the season – just in time for Memorial Day weekend, according to a release from the city.

The city will have special deals on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday: $1 admission for everyone and $5 off all pool memberships.
The Ashford Park Splash Pad, 2980 Redding Road NE, opened for the season on Saturday, May 2, and will be open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Wednesday, September 30. The splash pad is free for all ages.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming the community back this summer for another fun and successful pool season with programming such as water fitness classes and a new swim camp led by SwemSchool,” said Parks and Recreation Director Michael King in the release.
