The Looking Glass, an Alice in Wonderland-inspired restaurant and entertainment venue from AMP Up1 Hospitality (Your 3rd Spot), will open at The CTR in downtown Atlanta next year.
Construction begins right after the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Atlanta. It makes a fitting resident for The CTR, which housed The World of Sid and Marty Krofft theme park for five months in 1976.
“The Looking Glass reflects what has always been true about this project: at its best, it’s a place where Atlantans come together. Even before it became CNN Center, people visited this building for entertainment, discovery, and shared experiences, creating memories with family and friends,” said Chris Eachus, Founding Partner of CP Group.
Expect carnival-style games, nine-pin bowling, tabletop games, and a hall of illusions, among the attractions at The Looking Glass. It will also include a venue-wide scavenger hunt.
As for food, The Looking Glass will offer a “modern take on teatime,” with cocktails and dishes like lemon pepper shrimp, spicy tuna crispy rice, raspberry rose macarons, and brown butter tea cakes. People order from one of the stations at The Looking Glass or via their phone, then pick up their order and find a seat.
The day will see The Looking Glass open to all ages. However, people 18 years and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Service shifts to 21-and-over during the evening.
The CTR is currently home to food hall CTR Food Works, ATL Culture House, and an official FIFA merchandise store. In August, CTR Culture Studios will host its first cohort of resident artists.
