Author Emily Giffin will discuss her new book, “Love You More,” at an event at the Atlanta History Center on July 10.
The novel, in which a newly engaged woman gets a sudden, life-changing call from her high school sweetheart, is slated to come out on July 7. Giffin, who lives in Atlanta, is the best-selling author of books like “Something Borrowed,” “First Comes Love,” and “The Lies That Bind.”
Fellow author Colleen Oakley (“The Mostly True Story of Tanner and Louise”) will moderate the discussion. Tickets to the author talk include a signed copy of “Love You More.”
“Love You More” follows Billie, a doctor in New York City who has finally moved on from her high school sweetheart, Mick. Her medical practice is thriving, and she’s engaged to her perfect partner, Dean. But when Mick calls her with urgent news, she finds herself on her way back to her home state of Wisconsin where the past is waiting for her.
The event will take place at the Atlanta History Center’s McElreath Hall. Tickets for non-members are $40, $34 for members, and $28 for insiders.
