North Springs is coming off a 1-9 season in which the Spartans’ only win came against region opponent Clarkston, 28-6. While there were some disappointing performances last season, the Spartans showed grit at the end of the season, although they would ultimately fall short to Northview, 21-13. After the classification shakeups, North Springs will be competing in Class 4A this coming season, with a region that consists mostly of teams from their region last season. Interestingly, due to the way the region works, they do not play every team in the region as most do. Despite Clarkston and Stone Mountain being in their region, they will not face either this fall. The Spartans open their 2026 season with a matchup against Riverwood before two road games against Creekview and Woodland-Cartersville. They then take on Kennesaw Mountain, which is also their final non-region game of the season. North Springs opens region play against Westminster before taking on Pace Academy and Salem.. The final three games of North Springs’ season might just be its hardest. The Spartans take on Greater Atlanta Christian in a Spartans vs. Spartans matchup. Then they take on Stephenson, who has 5-star edge rusher KJ Green in addition to one of the most talented rosters in the classification. Finally, the Spartans close the season by taking on Douglass-Atlanta.
