Waffle House is testing out a new dish at a few of its Georgia restaurants.
The Avondale Estates-based, all-day breakfast chain is adding tacos to the menu at 45 locations across North Georgia, including more than two dozen of its restaurants around metro Atlanta, WSB Radio reported.
The test run features seven tacos: bacon, egg, and cheese; sausage, egg, and cheese; chicken sausage, egg, and cheese; and ham, egg, and cheese for breakfast; and patty melt, chicken melt, and cheesesteak melt for lunch and dinner.
You can order these tacos when dining in at Waffle House, or online for pickup or delivery. However, the tacos are subject to availability, while supplies last.
Waffle House does not add new items often to its permanent lineup.
Earlier this year, Waffle House introduced the Chicken Fiesta Protein Bowl, featuring chicken from Springer Mountain Farms, in select locations across the country. Last year, the company tested out canned cold brew, only available in Atlanta, and added a temporary 50-cent egg surcharge to the bill. The surcharge was later reversed once egg prices came down. In 2024, Waffle House began offering chicken sausage at certain locations nationwide.
The breakfast chain typically launches seasonal dishes throughout the year–namely themed waffles, like last fall’s cinnamon nougat crunch waffle.
