Atlanta-based mental health nonprofit CHRIS 180 raised more than $915,000 at its 2026 CHRIStal Ball, held on Aug. 15 at Curate in Atlanta.

More than 550 community members, sponsors and partners gathered in support of CHRIS 180’s work to heal children, strengthen families and build community, according to a press release.

Funds raised through the annual event help CHRIS 180 provide trauma-informed mental and behavioral health services, foster care and adoption support, safe housing and programs.

“The CHRIStal Ball is a powerful reminder of what is possible when our community comes together with a shared commitment to helping children, young adults and families,” CHRIS 180 President Cati Diamond Stone said in a statement. “The support we received this year will help us expand access to care, create greater stability and ensure more of our neighbors have the resources and opportunities they need to build stronger futures.”

The garden-party-inspired evening honored two community leaders for their service and commitment to strengthening Atlanta:

Julia Houston, Chief Legal Officer of Equifax, was recognized for her leadership, community service and dedication to creating opportunities for others.

Georgia Power Company was honored for its longstanding commitment to supporting communities throughout Georgia and investing in organizations that help children and families thrive.

Board members Wes Adams, of SV Consulting Group, and S. Karimah McFarlane, of Buckhead Art & Company, served as co-chairs for the event.

The 2026 Anchor Sponsor was Delta Air Lines. Legacy Sponsors included Cox Enterprises, Georgia-Pacific and Georgia Power.
