Tucker’s city leaders are launching a new monthly series of classes this month all about the inner workings of the city’s operations.
TKR 101 is a monthly class series teaching Tucker residents about how the city government operates at different department levels. The 2026-27 series kicks off on Tuesday, Sept. 15, with a class on City Leadership, Clerk, and Communications, presented by Mayor Anne Lerner, members of the Tucker City Council, City Manager John McHenry, City Clerk Bonnie Warne, and City Communications Director Sonja Szubski.
TKR 101 will continue until March on the third Tuesday of each month. Every class is at 7 p.m. at Tucker City Hall, with the exception of January’s class, which will be held at the Tucker Recreation Center.
The class series is open to all and free to attend. The series will culminate in a graduation during the Tucker City Council meeting on Monday, March 8, at 7 p.m.
